This web site is about our dream of homesteading and our homestead, self-sufficiency, preparedness, the building and progress of our intentional community and our homesteads, sustainable agriculture, alternative farming, gardening, recipes, livestock, and SO much more! We also have Parenting Issues, Parrot head stuff, our Holiday pages, and lots of stuff for just plain fun!

If you would like to join us on the board, just click on the link above to register as a member. Registration is free. In order to keep our member list free of spammers, however, we do send a welcome e-mail that requires a reply before membership activation. At the request of our website visitors, we created a homesteading discussion board in November 2004, which didn't work. We created a new phpBB forum in March 2005, which had major problems in downtime. We finally moved our whole domain and the forums to a new server in 2005. iPowerWeb now hosts our board and our website without ads, and we have had very little down-time on the board since we signed up with them.

Hopefully, we'll never be finished with our web site. At the moment, a Complete re-design is in progress. If the homesteading pages have dead links for a while, we are putting our new homestead pages up. We've taken down most of the community pages, while we work on our new community. We've been working on the photos and have put some new photo galleries in places, creating photo galleries for before, and during photos of our new homestead (and community). After photos will hopefully be incorporated soon.
We've tried to make it easy to navigate and see what YOU are most interested in! Hold on, bookmark the site, and come back often to see all the new goodies! Have fun during your visit!
