Spring Blooms, 2005

Here's some photos taken for Spring 2005, mainly just for fun (and for Nancy!)

April Roses

They're not blooming yet, but they sure are growing fast!

The blooming hedge!

Forsythia, Japanese Quince, and Russian Olive, all lined up in a row and blooming in April.

Bridal wreath

The bridal wreath blooms every spring, late in March or by early April.

Dragon's Blood sedum

This is a tiny sedum we planted in the top of this tall stump. By the end of summer, it will hang down all around the sides like a curtain.

Forsythia

I love the yellow blooms of forsythia. April 2005

Redbud in bloom

(For you, Nancy). The redbuds are in bloom. April 2005

Redbud & Dogwood

Side by side, the redbud & dogwood are very pretty when they're in bloom. April 2005

Red Raspberries

They are coming up good and spreading out too.

Strawberries

The strawberry bed has filled out well. April 2005

Aloe from Sue

This is the aloe plant Sue gave me in April 2004. It has been repotted 3 times since then. Now, in April 2005, It really needs repotted again, and the babies need to be separated out. Keep in mind, this is a large pot, next to a large cat and a regular size push broom. Wait till you see it's next pot though!

Hostas

Hostas coming up in the rock flower beds in front. 04/10/05.

New Crocuses are up!

We planted these in March 05. They were up in April 05.

Pots & Flower beds

Our potted plants & herbs are lined up in front of the rock flower beds.

We planted hostas all along the whole bottom rock bed in 2004.
