Livestock 2003

In 2003, we hatched out tons of chicks in our incubator.  From the incubator, they went out into the brooder pen in the garage:

From there, once they got fully feathered, they went into the small chicken house, then finally into the big coop with the older chickens.  We also had a few turkeys.  After Thanksgiving, we had one turkey hen left.

The roosters chased the turkeys around, but not for long.  They eventually get well over twice the size of the roosters.

Here are some of our new goat babies from this year.

Chickens think they are goats.

These chickens preferred the company of the doelings.
